Turn equipment on/off at any temperature you set Controller turns any piece of equipment on or off when the temperature rises above a ''high'' set point or falls below a ''low'' set point. Wide setting range of –20 to 60°C and –4 to 140°F permits maintaining temperatures above or below ambient. Automatic switchings Control heating elements, cooling blocks, hot plates, heating mantles, cooling systems, or incubators to ±1°C. Controller may be set in 1° increments. Display reads in Fahrenheit and Celsius with a 0.1° resolution. Unit accepts standard, three-pronged plug and controls equipment rated to 1800 watts, 15 amps. Brilliant, 1/2-inch-high LCD (liquid crystal display) shows the temperature and time of day to the exact second. A red LED status light indicates the on/off mode of attached equipment. Individually serial numbered Traceable® Certificate is supplied to indicate traceability to standards provided by NIST (National Institution of Standards and Technology). Remembers on/off settings Uses the same microchip and software that control sophisticated plant operations. May also be programmed to turn equipment on and off at any minute of any day. ''Always remember'' memory permits programming three different pairs of on/off time switchings per day. The memory chip and the display are powered by two AAA batteries. Settings are maintained for 1 year in the event of an electrical outage. Learn to operate in seconds The simple commands are a joy to use. The display walks you through the steps. A manual override permits equipment to be switched on or off instantly without disturbing the temperature or timer settings.
