When your seedlings have a couple of small leaves and the roots emerge from the starter cubes, it's time to transplant them into full-sized rockwool blocks. Soak the blocks in pH 5.5 water overnight, and insert the cubes in the holes the next day. Use the 3'' or 4'' sizes if you plan to move up to rockwool slabs later on, or choose the larger 4'' or 6'' sizes to grow plants to maturity.
