Our vertical reflectors are brushed aluminum on the backside and white on the inside (where lamp is located). Assembly required. Does not include socket, cord, bulb or ballast. For use with any sized H.I.D. bulb. Vertical hoods tend to throw the light over a greater area (or ''all over the place''). It is important to realize that each kind of bulb puts out a certain number of lumens, and that the greater the area that the light is dispersed over, the lower the number of lumens per square foot will be. So if you're growing plants that need a lot of light, don't use a vertical hood unless you are in a large area with several fixtures. Vertical reflectors include parabolics & the round (china hat) style units.
