This container utilizes the same patented Smart Valve that is used in the 4-Plant Starter Garden, but in a completely self-contained version. Just fill the outer pot with nutrient solution and it will water the plant as needed. Good for small to medium-sized plants. Comes with 6'' inner pot, outer pot/reservoir, Smart Valve, soilless potting mix and starter nutrient. We recommend purchasing a pH kit and adjusting the pH to 6.0-6.5 for optimal results with fast growing plants such as vegetables, herbs, etc.
