This is a great value and it works perfectly. Drape the 1/2'' tubing that comes from your water pump over one side of your flood/drain tray and fix in place with a 1/2'' clip/tube holder (part# HPMCLIP). Drill a 1'' hole in the other side of the tray. The nut goes on the bottom, everything else goes on top. The pump turns on. When the water level reaches the top of the drain tube, it quickly falls back into the reservoir. When the pump shuts off, it slowly drains back into the reservoir through small holes in the base of the drain tube. The tube can easily be cut to whatever height you desire. If your reservoir isn't directly under the drain, you can attach a 1/2'' female hose coupling (part# HPMFHA) to the bottom of the assembly which will allow you to run a piece of 1/2'' tubing to wherever the reservoir is.
