The Highland Mint was commissioned by the NFL to mint the official game coin for the 2004 season. This 24KT gold overlay coin is a replica of the coin that was given to each team by the NFL to flip prior their 1st home game. One side of the coin has the team logo as well as listing the franchise inaugural season date and team name on the perimeter. The back of the coin has the 2004 Official Game Coin logo. Each coin has it's individual serial number engraved on the edge of the coin. Each limited edition coin measures 1.5 inches in diameter, struck to the highest standards in minting tradition and carefully overlayed with 24KT gold. As well each coin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, presented in a plastic capsule and displayed in a custom velour jewelry box.
